Are you interested in a school to study French language with a group ? There are such schools in Tours (http://www.cle.fr/cours-intensif-de-francais/), Montpellier, Paris of course...
If you are interested in an individual programme you may also have a look at one-to-one classes. There are some programs mixing tours and courses too (for example http://visite.bretagne.free.fr/index...fferently.html).

You might check with a local college or university in your area. I know many programs for a summer study abroad are offered thru a college, extended studies programs (if the university has one), sometimes community colleges or adult community classes all offer them.

If you are interested I can ask my DD who signed up for a summer program thru the Sorbonne (University of Paris on the Left Bank) and they had host families the students could stay with. She went three summers throughout her college years and became proficient in French.

My wife and I have been doing this for 6 years now. What I've said in previous threads still holds. This year, we switched languages -- to Spanish -- and went to an excellent school in Madrid, AIL.

I belong to an international women's organization and have seen a notice for this immersion opportunity in the newsletters: www.lou-pie.fr.

I know nothing about it except it has been listed for some time and likely no complaints or I'd imagine it wouldn't remain long. There is a page of reviews "their opinions" and all this assuming you're a woman.

I've been to Créa Langues in Moustiers Ste Marie in Provence a few times and thought it wonderful. Very professional and total immersion. Great food also.. a mixed group from all over the world always.
