Free Wifi Availability in Netherlands?

Jump to last reply

When I have travelled to the Netherlands in the past I have brought a laptop and only concerned myself with whether my lodging had free wired/wireless internet access for guests. For my trip in April I'm bringing along my cell phone and tablet. I'll have a data plan for the cell phone so that I can do web sites without wifi, but wifi is better and the tablet will only use wifi.

The last time I was in Paris the McDonalds was always full of people using the free wifi. I'm wondering how prevelant this kind of thing is these days in the Netherlands. Are there places where you can always count on finding free wifi?
