Free Travel Books

I have a few (free) travel books that I used as resources since I prefer, and am of the age, that prefers books in my hand, to the computer. We are done with these books and countries as we have been to some more than once and books are too old to sell but in my mind still have value for the right type of investigative traveler. The basic info and top tourist sights is really still valid. You would in all probablity check the sights website for current info anyway. Will send to you if you want to include your email, I can then mail them to anyone who really wants them and can really use them. I stress this as I have no problem shipping and paying postage if you feel you can really use them.

England: Short Walks in English Towns
Italy: Isola Bella Tourist Guide
Portugal: Rough Guide-Portugal
Special Places to Stay
Russia: Baedekers Moscow
Fodors Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev
Switzerland: Karen Brown's Swiss Country Inns & Chalets

Wine Journal: great little book if you are into keeping a record of your wine tastings. (blank pages, no information)

jan47ete, Thank you, I would certainly make good use of your book Short Walks in English Towns. Your offer is indeed generous but I'd be very willing to pay for the postage to have it mailed to me. You can reach me through my yahoo email; deborahann1414

If trying to give your books away here becomes too time consuming would your public library accept them as a donation or might they have a annual book sale as a fund raiser. I've found some very helpful books through our library book sales.

Thanks again, Deborah
