Frankfurt to Budapest - "train specific" tickets?

Jump to last reply

Ready to book train ticket through German, but the "special rate" tickets have following info: "Train-specific booking. Exchange/return: EUR 15; excluded from first
day of travel."
I have tried many sites (including Bahn, Eurorail, etc.) to determine exactly what this means. The EUR 15 is clear, but does the rest mean that the ticket is only good for a specific train, and can't be exchanged or returned the same day as original travel???
thanks to anyone who understands this.
