My mom and I are flying into Frankfurt on separate airlines from different origination cities. We are trying to figure out the best place to meet up. Our flights arrive about 25 minutes apart. I'm flying Luftansa and she is flying US Airways. Any suggestions on where we could arrange to meet?

Both of you should arrive at Terminal 1.
If so, there is one "official" Meeting Point on the arrivals level after you went thru baggage claims and customs.
Thanks, Cowboy!
Another question...probably a dumb one...but do passengers from both Terminal 1 and 2 claim their bags at the same baggage claim and go through a single customs point or does each terminal have separate baggage/customs?
Terminal 1, has multiple gates and each gate has its' own baggage carousel. A-1, A-2, B-1, B-2, and C-1. Terminal 2 has 2 gates, D and E, each with its own baggage carousel.
Your airlines both use terminal 1, so no need to worry about terminal 2 at all.
Just go to the Meeting Point in terminal 1, which is by Arrivals B-1, after you pick up your luggage. There is a large Marche' Cafe' next to it where you can grab a coffee and freshly baked goodies.
Thanks, Mainhattengirl! I appreciate the details. I'd hate to lose my mother on the first day of our trip.
