France/Italy/Swiss plan

Jump to last reply

My parents are planning to visit Milan, Venice, Zurich and Paris starting the first week of October.

They have about 11-12 days on the ground out of which they need to spend 2 days in Milan on business. They want 5 days in Switzerland and the rest split between Venice and Paris. I'd like help on what might be the best route to follow (on train) which might help minimise travel time as much as possible. (They need to be in Milan any time between Oct 5th-10th)

Also, in Switzerland , should they Zurich or Interlaken their base? What places can they cover if they were to do day trips?
