France: Trains Do Run on Christmas Day, Right?

I have been in France at Christmas several times but not for a few years. Trains were running fairly decent schedules (my home away from home in France is smack on a mainline to Paris.

But as i am currently booking a plane ticket to arrive at CDG Airport on Christmas Day i thought i would double-check with the experts who can verify that i can indeed get a train from CDG into Paris (RER) and then a train from Austerlitz to Les Aubrais-Orleans

I tried checking the bahn.de schedule and it seems nothing has been loaded for winter schedules, as is oft IME the way it is

I can be assured of public transports running somewhat regularly, right

thanks

Since you're going to be traveling in France why not try booking a ticket at SNCF.com to be sure? I just did and it shows trains running all over on Dec 25.

No problem with Christmas for travel in France. Everything runs as per the normal holiday schedule.

This isn't the UK.

thanks both for taking time to respond

Ah yeh the U.K. even on Dec 26 many trains don't run! Actually the no-running on Christmas Day is a fairly recent thing in Britain i read - only from around 1970 did they decide not to run - and Dec 26th is a busy shopping day and few trains - tubes yes but not many mainline trains.
