My friend and I (both young women) are studying abroad and will be spending 5 days in Paris in March, then 2 in Geneva, 3 in Rome, 3 in Venice, and 2 in Vienna in May. We have already booked our hostels, but are looking for advice on how to plan our days. Any ideas of things to do that maybe aren't in the guidebooks? We would especially appreciate advice on evening activities, as we are not huge bars/party people. Thanks!

You might try having a better Title to your post. That would attract more responses.
Your travel time will cut into many activities that you might want to participate in.
Have you accounted for travel time from one lace to another? Do you actually have that much time on the ground once you subtract the 1/2 day time to get there?
I think this is one of the times when less is more.
So far I count 17 hours just on trains, unless you plan to fly between cities. Why so much waste of time?
Thanks for the replies! Sorry, this is my first post and I wasn't very clear. We have a day planned in between each city for travel. We already booked flights to Geneva and then from Rome to Venice, and plan on taking a day train from Geneva to Rome and Venice to Vienna to see the scenery too.
Thanks for the replies! Sorry, this is my first post and I wasn't very clear. The days I listed do not include travelling. We set aside one day for each change of city. We already booked flights to Geneva and Venice, and are planning on taking a day train from Geneva to Rome and Venice to Vienna so we can see the scenery, too.
