My France trip reports over the past few years have all been in phototravelogue style, where the report is contained in the captions of the trip pictures. This is not too dissimilar from kerouac’s marvelous Any Port In the Storm reports which he frequently links here, except those can be viewed by scrolling down a single web page, while mine require a bit more laborious page-to-page clicking on the images and captions.

The reports were originally on a Sony photo site, and I then moved them to a Kodak one when the former site closed – after all, what could be more durable than the name synonymous with photography (at least in the US)? Wrong! With the closing of the Kodak Gallery site earlier this year, the phototravelogues are again on the move – and unless Google plans on shutting down in the near future, they should be secure for a while …
