I am planning to surprise my husband with a hot-air balloon ride for his birthday (the trip to France was his birthday present to me). Has anyone tried this company? How was the experience? Were they a professional and put-together operation.
Thanks in advance.

OK -- has ANYONE tried a balloon ride ANYWHERE? Is it fun or does it get boring after the initial excitement wears off?
If you just want to go up and down, the Parc Andre Citroen in Paris has a tethered balloon ride, in season.
It goes up about 1000 feet (about 10 stories)
Took a Hot Air Balloon ride in Turkey in Cappadoccia and after our initial reservations it was "Magical"(and the champagne was nice too). Many in our group balked at the price and time of day, but afterward after we shared our experience many regretted their decision not to go. Go for it, It will truly be something to tell your kids about. As for the French Balloon Company I'd contact the French Tourist board if no ine has an answer for you.
Good Luck
I went hot-air ballooning over San Jose. It was ethereal. Not at all what I expected. I'm afraid of heights, but I was leaning out of the balloon in awe of the view. Go for it! What a great experience, and to do it in France can only enhance it.
