Foreign Currency Travelers Checks-Good Idea????

Jump to last reply

My husband and I will be traveling to England and were wondering if it is a good idea to purchase foreign currency travelers checks before we leave.
Is it true that you can't use them like cash the we do in the U.S. and that you must go to a bank to cash them in?? Any info will be appreciated.
