For a White Christmas: Seefeld or St. Wolfgang

Jump to last reply

Planning a trip to Vienna and Munich in December 2015. We arrive Dec 23 into Munich. We want to spend three nights/days in the Austrian Alps (December 24 to Dec 27) so we can experience a white Christmas. Mom, dad, and two teenage daughters are not skiers but willing to take beginner lessons. We prefer to enjoy the beauty of the snow and just take short walks on the snow. Go for horse sleigh rides, build snow man, etc. We are undecided between Seefeld and St. Wolfgang. I am reaching out to you for some advise to help us decide and make lodging reservations. Since we are spending Christmas eve and do not know any people there, we would like to stay at a Guest house or BB place where we can join in with the local host and eat the local food. Not sure if there are such places where guests are invited to partake of the food and celebration but we appreciate any recommendations
