It looks absolutely stunning. I'm a foodie (and chef) so love to try new foods/places (some not cheap) but I would have trouble paying that much. It would be a very special evening, that is for sure.

I don't think eating at El Bulli (a full meal) is much more cheaper...anyway, I don't like so much loneliness !

The tasting menu at Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence is 225 Euro - without water, wine or coffee!

I'm sure it's a lovely meal, but for such an expensive place, I'd expect a slicker web page. Not that there's anything wrong with it - it just doesn't seem like a 250-Euro per-person restaurant web page.

No doubt it is possible to get a meal almost as good for about 225 Euros per person less in numerous small venues.

When I read description it's the smallest restaurant in the world, I'm reminded of that phrase "the smallest room in the house."

Why would someone want to pay 250 euros to eat there?

<< Why would someone want to pay 250 euros to eat there? >>

because they can...

...and not spend one second thinking a thing about it.

Not that "they" is "me".

Best wishes,

Rex
