Food tours in Rome?

Hi All, in another of my treads about fun things to do with my 13 yr old daughter on an upcoming trip to Rome (3 nights) a Food tour was suggested, have many of you done them and have you any recommendations, are they very expensive? I think this might be more fun that a cookery course (which I would love but my boyfriend might not!) I see http://www.eatingitalyfoodtours.com do evenings tours, would this be better as it will be August so I imagine it will be a little bit cooler by evening time! This might also free up daytime for sightseeing!
