I'm interested in flying to Norway sometime and would like to fly from the Wash DC area to Bergen. If anyone knows how to get some cheap rates, I would appreciate it.
Thanks

I just came back from London and notice there were many special air fares offered by Braathens, the national airline of Norway. What you may be able to do is get a super cheap flight from DC to London (this shouldn't be too hard--maybe use a consolidator) and then take advantage of these special fares. You may have to book when you get to London? Have fun in Bergen. It is incredibly beautiful!
A way that has worked well for two years is: Fly the cheapest way you can to London, to LHR if possible or a $15 transfer from LGW to LHR. Then use a British Midland (800-788-0555) "See Europe Airpass" to fly to Norway. You can change the flight with no penalty and it costs only $139 plus tax one way but reserve and check in early since the flights are overbooked. See you in Norway!
Try going before June 14, and check out Iceland Air !
