Florence to Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena)
Hello again!
I wanted to get everyone's opinion on our time at our villa in tuscany. We are staying in Castelnuovo Berardenga for 3 nights. We are driving from outside florence to the villa and on the way I would love to stop in some small towns, eat, and see the sights. Does anyone have any suggestions on great stops that would be on the way, or even slightly off the beaten path? We don't mind spending all day driving and exploring and getting to our villa early evening for dinner there.
Once at the villa we will be doing a chianti and bordello wine tour (on two seperate days), they have multiple stops on each and are day long. Let me know what you think! This forum already helped so much with shaping our trip itinerary!
Thanks,
Andrea

Well, it was one of the tours offered through a company we are doing our chianti tour with, so I figured it would be fun to see two regions of tuscany with different types of wine. I would LOVE recommendations of other things to do while in tuscany, because if we don't get any we are going to just tour it up and drink/eat our way through the region the best we can.

We chose CB because it is very close to Siena and chianti region so we could do some exploring in siena while also being able to enjoy the countryside a little bit. We are very green travelers, and don't have any experience, just kind of learning as we go.
