Flights SFO to Barcelona, Spain

Planning ahead for November trip - would appreciate suggestions for specific
airlines and any other tips from experienced travelers relating to long, continuous flight or the possibility of stopover on our East Coast

I don't see any nonstop flights from SFO to BCN listed in November, so that would no longer appear to be an option.

I don't think it's possible to fly direct. are you interested in a 2 stop flight for under $950 vs $1920 for a 1 stop?

sorry, my bad - didn't do my due diligence on flights - still have a need for suggestions on specific airlines as it relates to most recommended stopover cities - NY, Zurich, Paris, etc

American flights connect through JFK, London and Miami. Iberian adds Chicago to the list. Delta does Amsterdam, JFK and CDG. KLM does Amsterdam and JFK. Air France does CDG, returning via JFK and CDG. Lufthansa/United does Munich and Frankfurt. Swiss Air does Zurich. British Air does London.

Delta flies nonstop from Atlanta and JFk depending on the time of the year so you could go straight from SFO to one of those cities and then on to BCN.
