Are there any flights into the Crimea from a Western European hub city. I know about connecting flights from Kiev, Moscow and Istanbul. But I would prefer to fly in from a Western European country without going through one of these 3 cities. Any chance of doing so? Please tell me cities, airlines and days of week flights scheduled for April, if you know of such.

Send a note to Mark Miller at MDM@discoveringrussia.com. They are a NY-based tour operator (which I have used for a previous and a future trip to Russia) and I know they have good relationships with airlines to that region.
You might check Frankfurt (FRA) to Simferopol (SIP), but it may not be available until the beginning of tourist season. Vienna to Odesa is a main route, and then take the train.
