Flight gurus: Mallorca routes?
I am in the initial stages of planning airfare etc. to Majorca originating in Seattle and LAX or SFO for my three college aged kids as their Christmas gifts. I found that BA flies out of these airports (2 live in SEA-one is equididstant from LAX and SFO) but the fare is rather steep. Any suggestions on better segmenting i.e. fly to London then on an inter-Europe flight or ?????

Hi Sue
As a twist, you may consider just flying into Barcelona (much easier to get flights) and taking one of the overnight cruises to Majorca. We did it 2 years ago and spent some time in Barcelona then took an overnight cruise to Majorca. It was the old killing 2 birds with one stone...the cruise was kind of fun, we would have had to of paid for a hotel room anyway, and we arrived in Palma the next morning refreshed and ready to go. I remember it being pretty cheap too.

I believe the $503 and the $770 are the same fare. Huge taxes routing through LHR.
Checked Iberia through Chicago and AA + easyJet through LGW - works out about the same (or more) in both cases.
