We are arriving in Istanbul from Chicago at 5.15 pm on Turkish Air and have a flight out to Cairo at 7 on Egypt Air. Is that too short a stop-over? How big is Ataturk Airport? Will we make it? The tension mounts. Any feedback (hopefully reassuring) welcome.

Trip Ideas
The airport isn't that large, you won't need to purchase a visa, you should have sufficient time, as long as your arriving flight is on time.
thanks!
I agree with julia1. The only thing I would be concerned about is your flight arriving on time from Chicago. If it's on time, the transfer shouldn't be a problem.
