Flight from Amsterdam to Berlin

I have searched the Internet, going to every website I know for hours and can not find a reasonable ($$) flight from Amsterdam to Berlin. I went to whichbudget.com. There are no flights between these two cities.I've checked all the major travel websites and a one-way flight starts at $350 and up. Some are over $500. It's only an 1 1/2 flight. Can not figure out what's up with this.Easyget does not fly between these two cities. Why is it so expensive? I can fly from here to Europe cheaper than a one-way flight between these places. The train takes 7 hours and I need to get there in a couple of hours. Does anyone know why this is such a problem or a regional airline that flies between these two places? I found one starting with a V and it was going to be over $200.

Try Basiqair.com which goes from Rotterdam to Berlin Schoenefeld. Rotterdam is not far from Amsterdam.

The Rotterdam airport is just as convenient to get to from Amsterdam as many of the London airports are from London.

Rotterdam makes a big difference in trying to find a flight. Never would have thought of it but I'm not familiar with that area at all.

5 1/2 hours is better than the 7 hours I saw when I went to Raileurope. How do I find the name/schedule of the 5 1/2 hour train?

Go to
www.bahn.de
for train schedule.
The fastest train I see takes 5hr48mins and involves 1 change in Hannover from the InterCity (IC) train to an ICExpress train.
If you don't want to change trains, you can stay on the IC train, which still goes to Berlin, but takes an extra 10mins for a total of 5hr58mins.
