Oh you may also want to check out Greenwich Market, its great on a Saturday and there are lots of stores selling paper products around the market structure. To get there you can take the DLR from Bank to Cutty Sark (not Greenwich) or the overland train from London Bridge to Greenwich (a bit of a longer walk but not too bad at all). I think the train is faster.

In Camden Passage (nearest tube Angel) there is an outdoor market on Saturdays, which has all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff, from costume jewellery and vintage bags, to books and old printing blocks. I have gradually built up a collection of the printing blocks as they are quite nice for notepaper and cards.
Like a lot of these markets, the stalls start to pack up any time for midday, so get there AM if poss.
PS It is not a large market, but quite fun, and there are some nice shops in the vicinity too.

Another vote for Spitalfield's Market. It's open 5 days a week, but the biggest day is Sunday. It's closed Monday and Saturday. Here's the link:

Borough food market is another interesting one. It's on the Southbank and is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Even though you say you have been to major markets, and are looking for smaller markets, have you considered Camden Market? It's a very popular and busy market and would have the type of collectibles you are looking for. It's actually 6 different markets, with Camden Lock being the main one:

In order of how much I enjoyed each, which is extremely subjective:
Borough (but only got some food-stuffs)
Camden Lock/Market area (pretty much in general too young, goth, or antique for my wants/tastes [but I'm in my 50's] but it was a hoot to wander around--and good food and fun along the canal and the lock, too)
Notting Hill (but you've been)
Greenwich

True. There are four different offerings on the Spitalfield's Saturday markets, which rotate weekly. Here's the link:

BTW, I also like Greenwich Market. One of my favorites, particularly on weekends. I don't buy much, but I like to wander around, people watch, and eat there.

One more to add to your list is Bermondsey Square antiques market (not far from Borough Market), open Fridays from 4am-1pm, so you might want to make it an early start!

I collect postcards, too (and look for old bookmarks for my husband as well). Spitalfields market on antiques day has a few stalls selling postcards and other paper goods, but when I was there in November I didn't see anything special. However, I was quite pleased with what I found at the Jubilee Market at Covent Garden on a Monday: http://www.jubileemarket.co.uk/antiques/ There's a lot of "tat" there, but I managed to find a stall that among other things sold postcards and bookmarks very reasonably (way too cheap actually - I don't think the stallholder knew the value of some of her cards).
Happy hunting!
