First trip to Europe-Final itinerary

Good Morning,
My first backpacking trip to Europe is less than 30 days away...Here is what I have planned. I take any suggestions, comments, and recommendations. Also any good/affordable restaurants that we can visit at any of our stops? . Please note that I understand is a fast paced trip, but I am OK with it.
Thank you!

Something is missing here - what do you have planned? going by train - are you under 26 - if so can get the bargain Eurail Youthpass - so something above got deleted and needs to be redone?

For train info check these superb sites: www.seat61.com - great info on discounted train tickets that you should look into to save tons of money; www.budgeteuropetravel.com and www.ricksteves.com. Also look into Eurail Select Youthpass valid for Benelux, France, Italy and Spain.

Looks like you've got your trip pretty thoroughly planned and are pre-ticketed for most things you want to do.

My advice on where to eat: near wherever you are when you get hungry. If you have preplanned restaurant stops, you may have to track far from where you are and then back-track to pick up again. Use "Yelp" to search for restaurants near where you are unless you see one that looks/smells good and looks affordable. Fixed price lunch menus are usually a good bargain, but will take some time to eat as you get two or three courses.

On vacation, we almost always eat just two meals a day: a fairly substantial breakfast and a late (about half an hour before the restaurant stops serving) fixed price lunch; that usually means 1:30 or 2:00 p.m. If you don't get breakfast at your lodging, then stop for some fruit and yogurt (or a pastry, or whatever else you like to eat) midway through the morning. Stop again for a cup of coffee or tea and a pastry or something later in the afternoon if you're hungry. This routine has a number of advantages.

You could save time by taking the Thello overnight trains between Paris and Venice - flying takes a half day - the night train gets in bright and early in the morning - if you book far ina dvance some ducats as low as 59 euros or so total including sleeping berth (in a couchette) - www.thello.com
