A group of cousins are interested in a 7-10 day land tour of Finland and Sweden to explore our heritage. A cruise is out as one couple will not get on a ship. Any suggestions for land tours?

Too bad about the couple who won't get on a ship. One of my favorite experiences in Europe has been overnight ferry crossings between Stockholm and Helsinki. I did it again last year. Tell your aquaphobia relatives to take the plane and meet you there.
Tours? Just buy rail tickets or rent a car and strike out on your own. The Finns and Swedes are the most courteous drivers you'll ever see.
I agree. Taking a Silja Line <http://www.silja.us/> or Viking Line <http://www.vikingline.fi/index.asp?lang=en> ship is half the fun.
It of course depends where your ancestors came from. If they came from northern Sweden, go there. If they came from eastern Finland, go there. And so on.
