Finding a hotel/resort on the Costa del Sol with an indoor pool

Jump to last reply

Since our 4 day visit to the Costa del Sol will be the last days of March when I'm not expecting beach weather, I'm considering choosing a base with an indoor pool should the rain gods travel with us as they did this year in May in Italy and September in France. In Italy we were staying on Lakes Maggiore and Como and in France our stay was along a river near Beaune--all those locations could have been fabulous if we hadn't had day after day of rain ;;)

I've researched the Melia resort complex at Torremolinos, with a seafront view and an indoor pool I thought this might be a good base for visiting Malaga, Nerja and Marbella.

We will be staying in apartments and small hotels while in Andalusia so a stay at a resort would be something different for us, a "good" different, I hope. Have you stayed at this complex or can you suggest another location with an indoor pool? Thanks for any comments, Deborah
