Final plans for Indianapolis GTG: Saturday June 18
****LATE-BREAKING GTG NEWS!!****
For anyone in the Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan areas:
Our (2nd Annual?) Midwest Fodor's GTG is going to be this Saturday, June 18 from noon to (?) at marcy's house, in the Broad Ripple/ Meridian Hills area of Indianapolis.
RSVP to [email protected], and I'll give you directions to my house.
The theme is (what else! ) "A Taste of Europe." My husband and I will be cooking a tapas-type lunch with things from various countries, and if you'd like to bring something to add to the mix, feel free (but not obligated).
I'm hoping for good weather, so we can be outside in the garden, but we're planning on it rain or shine.
Wine, limoncello, Pastis, etc., will flow, and once again, feel free to bring something to share if you're so inclined.
Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones!
Marcy

Forgive me everyone for asking, I can't resist...but what do I wear for a Fodor's GT? Should it be packable, wrinkle-resistant, and black? What kind of shoes? Help me! And if I touch the produce at Marcy's house will she yell at me? In what language?

This is an outstanding list of characters and I can hardly wait to read, to see it all. I'll bet I'm not alone in wishing to be there.
My Lillet both red and white amd my HB pastis sits here for tomorrow when a few friends will be here toast with me at your big event.
remember in the words of that great poet,
There'll always be Movania.

David - Maybe you could get Kal to send you one of his Betty Ford Clinic hats.
Dierdre - Hmmm what to wear? Jeans? Black? Does that cause that horrid banding? Grass skirts were in at the NJ/NY gtg last month.
