Fete de la Tomate in the Loire

Jump to last reply

This year the tomato festival at the Chateau de la Bourdaisiere at Montlouis sur Loire will take place on September 10-11. I know it's been an off and on summer, so I'm wondering how likely is it that tomatoes will be at their peak then?

We met some people last year who said it was great but thought we'd do better to go a few days ahead to see the place without crowds.
