I have booked 4 nights at this hotel and would appreciate any input from this forum. Trip advisor, etc. have me concerned about noise from the nearby train. Thanks.

Just returned from our trip and The Ferman Hotel was wonderful. There is train noise in the back rooms, however the windows are thick and it was not a problem. We also stayed in the upstairs front rooms and I would advise asking for a Sultan Room or better and you will be very happy. The rooftop terrace has the best view in Istanbul, plus a full and good breakfast. The staff is beyond excellent, going out of their way to be gracious and helpfu.
