February Trip: Cordoba, Cadiz, Marbella, or Sotogrande?
I've read countless posts, reviews, guides, and photo books and cannot decide! I know there is information already on this topic but I'd love to get some experienced opinions about which city we should choose for our holiday.
My boyfriend and I are planning a romantic anniversary getaway (probably 2-3 nights) next month (that's February) and I've narrowed it down to those 4 places partly due to airport accesibility and due to the existence of a nice NH hotel in the city (we have enough frequent guest points to stay for free). So it's one of:
NH Amistad: Cordoba
NH Alanda: Marbella
NH Sotogrande: Sotogrande
NH Almenar: Cadiz
We have no illusions of sunbathing or swimming but obviously temperate conditions would be nice. We'd be interested in sight seeing, shopping, good dining, wine tasting, seeing a show (horses, dancing, or whatever specialty for that region) or anything in that vein. We're not very familiar with these parts of Spain and would love to hear (considering the region and hotels) which you would choose.
Thanks so much for helping make a memorable holiday!

Second kja's recommendation of fabulous Córdoba, and the NH Amsitad is in the best location and gets top guest reviews: http://www.booking.com/hotel/es/nhco...adcordoba.html
The three other destinations are along the coast, but I would definitely recommend Córdoba, once the most advanced city in Europa, a unique history and atmosphere. https://www.lonelyplanet.com/spain/andalucia/cordoba
See this video intro, and you're probably sold (Córdoba - life & spirit): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyfGdpF55Uk&t=24s
Plenty of excellent, affordable and local atmsphere tabernas in Córdoba: http://www.cordoba24.info/tavernen/h...vernen_en.html
Taberna Salinas from 1876 is a good bet, mentioned in the Michelin guide: http://www.tabernasalinas.com/¨

Some other options to consider: https://theculturetrip.com/europe/sp...cordoba-spain/
And perhaps see some genuine flamenco in Arte y Sabores de Córdoba. Could be a fine intro to this powerful and beautiful art so important for the city and the region: http://www.flamencotickets.com/arte-...res-de-cordoba
