Fast baggage pick up and delivery
Having decided to leave Luzern and do some site seeing before reaching our hotel in Wengen, am trying to work out having our luggage picked up and delivered for us. Went to website on line. I'm able to see that it's possible between the two towns, but no instructions as to how to set it up. Is this something you can't arrange ahead of time? Do we just take our bags to the train station and hope to find a kiosk or window to conduct this business? Any help would be appreciated

I don't know about pick-up/delivery, but I think you should be able to take it to the train station in Luzern (yes -- just go to the station and find the correct desk, which shouldn't be hard; you could go earlier just to see where it is if that would help) and pick it up at the station in Wengen, assuming the times work out for you. Here's the link. You need to enter the correct date to make sure it is an option for you on the date on which you need the service.

That is the site I used. It gives a drop off time so I assume that means it's available. It just doesn't give any other info. That's why I was looking for someone who might have done it. Thanks for answering.

We will be doing the same thing, using your same locations this September. After reading your post I used the link and entered our date. The site came right up with "hand in your luggage at Luzern by 9:00 and get it in Wengen on the same day after 18:30."
I have also checked Fast Luggage for another leg of our trip, and gotten specific time instructions for that trip too. I am feeling confident about the Fast Luggage process, but it looks like you must pay close attention to the timeline or you could end up with a next-day pick-up. I have read posts where people have complained of that.
I don't know why you did not get the time detail that I got. Could it be that your date is too far distant? That happened to me when I attempted to book VIP seats on the Golden Pass train. The site did not tell me what the problem was, it just ignored my entries. Finally I emailed them and got a prompt explanation. What month are you travelling?

Hi soods,
Yes, I use the SBB's baggage service regularly.
Yup, just take your bags to the train station and look for the pictogram of a suitcase over one of the teller windows. Then just tell the agent you want to send your bag using Fast Baggage.
And, again, yes, you need to be mindful of the time limits; the Swiss are very exact. If they say the case will arrive after 18.00, do not look for it at 17.30 or 17.45.
Also check to see what time the baggage window closes in Wengen. The baggage station in Wengen closes at 18.40 (you can check this under "Stations & Services," "Our Stations," "Find Your Station," then type in "Wengen"). So you'll have to time your pick up for after the cases will arrive but before the baggage window closes.
If you want, you can give your baggage receipts to your hotel, and one of the staff will pick up your bags for you.
It really works smoothly!

Should have also emphasized that you need to be at the window at 09.00 -- not standing in line. I would probably get there around 08.30 or 08.45 to make sure the cases are in the system by 09.00.
