Fashion/Historical Clothing Museum

Doing my "homework" (and maybe not to well!), I can't seem to find any museums that may showcase fashion or clothing "through the ages"? I hope to return to Paris in March...

You mean the Musee de la Mode which is housed in the Richelieu wing of the Louvre (Metro Palais Royal or Louvre-Carrousel). You can visit www.louvre.fr which has a link in English. Good luck -- hopes this helps.

Musee de la Mode et du Textile is always worth a visit. Right now: Jacqueline Kennedy – The White House Years. Not sure about the end though. Sorry. Check with Pariscope, please. This exhibit features 70 of Jackie O's most beautiful outfits from her years in the White House, including her famous 'Pill Box Hat.' This is the first time this collection has been seen outside of the United States. 107, rue de Rivoli, 1st arr. Metro: Tuileries, Palais Royal. Open: Daily from 11am-6pm

There are two museums of this sort that I know of in Paris Musee de la Mode et du Costume (which has rotating exhibits): http://www.paris.org/Musees/Costume/info.html And Musée des Arts de la Mode et du Textile (which is part of the Louvre): http://www.paris.org/Musees/Arts.Textile/info.html I've enjoyed both; hope you do the same.
