Family of 5- 2 weeks in Europe

Jump to last reply

We have a week in Tuscany next summer with in laws then would like to extend the trip a couple of weeks and travel with our 3 kids - who will be 21, 19, 14 then. We will do Rome and Florence before and from Tuscany, then are looking at Venice, Paris, Barcelona, and thinking about Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Amsterdam.

What is the best mode of travel for the 5 of us? In looking at Eurail, I think it would be about $3200 for passes for all of us. Is there a way to do it cheaper?

Any suggestions of destinations, travel, etc is appreciated!

Thanks!
Karen
