family holiday in august

mysel wife & 2 children are going to stay at marlita beach apts in protaras,cyprus.has anybody stayed there and what are the best things to see in the local area? the children are 12 & 15 and the older girl likes watersports.any good restaaurants locally.thanks for any replies
