Excellent Delta Miles Special Inspires Long Weekend Trip to Amsterdam

Jump to last reply

Wow 42,000 miles for tickets to Europe that cost 1200-1500 each seemed like too excellent of a deal to pass up and forced me to put my money where my mouth is... I often say - If Europe were cheaper to get to I could do a long weekend no problem.

Leave Wednesday night - Return Sunday morning. We picked Amsterdam. We went to Paris with the kids this summer. I am sort of wondering if maybe I should have just returned to Paris because it was crowded and we kept saying "I want to come in Winter" but In the end we both decided to head somewhere new. I did spend a week in the Netherlands and 24 hours in Amsterdam but not together. Rome and Madrid were considerations but miles tickets higher cost.

Amsterdam in January here we come. Mostly just sharing no big questions right now.
