Has anyone done the Evan Evans one day tour from London to Brussels or Paris? I it is a Eurostar round-trip with guide for 150 pounds. My French is not too solid, and I barely survived a trip to Calais on my own year before last, so I thought the guided tour might be the thing. Any help (including alternative companies with similar packages) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We took an Evan Evans 1/2 day trip to Stonehenge and Bath. It was very well run. If you have the time you might consider the Paris overnight one to give you some more free time in Paris. I wouldn't worry about going alone either. With a good map, a "bon jour" and "merci" and a low key attitude you can easily do Paris on your own.
