I'm travelling from India...and while exchanging Currency to Euros, i received some Euros where somebody has scribbled something/ written down some no. / has written initials etc.. etc...
Just want to know whether such euros will be accepted at shops/ restaurants/ trains etc...

unless Euros are completely torn up
they take marked up currency...
Euros are couterfeited rarely in Asia
if you have those forget about it.
Those numbers are probably written by a bank cashier to show how much was in a pile of notes. It's usual in most currencies to see numbers on the face of a note.
