Europe/Oktoberfest Honeymoon/Trip

Jump to last reply

Hello, my husband and I have dreamed about going to Germany and have decided to make our travel arrangements around Oktoberfest time so that we can experience it. I would like to go to Munich, Switzerland, and Austria. I have never been to Europe and in order to get the most out of vacation would it be best to do the travel on my own and build my own itinerary or to book the trip through an tour agency such as:

www.trafalgar.com
www.ricksteves.com
www.globusjourneys.com
www.goaheadtours.com

if anyone has used any of these tour agencies or anyone that I haven’t mentioned above which do they recommend and why?

As far as dates: during Oktoberfest and it would be for 14-16 days. Is this enough time to see these three areas?

Traveling would be my husband and I

We love to see all the major attractions and really experience the culture

We have around $7K for the trip not including airfare

If anyone has any other recommendations or notes please let me know.
