We are heading to Europe in October and want to go somewhere that isn't cold. I assume are best bests are Greece and Italy. Any other suggestions? We tend to travel late March. It's a big birthday celebration and the reason for October. Thanks for your help in advance.

Your question is far too general. I have even been on Ireland even middle November and it was not cold for me, so that might mean the whole Europe could do on October! Define what is or is not "cold" for you, what type of activities you are after,a time frame, a budget... No one has a crystal ball to be inside your mind! Help us to help you!
Good point. I am hoping for weather in the 60's or higher.
We start our trip in Paris. I was hoping to head south.
Someone just mentined Sicily which might be good too.
I was also thinking of flying to Dybrovnik and driving
the coast to Venice. I don't need to swim, just sightsee.

I believe that 60 F is around 15-16 C . This is not hard at all to get on October in Greece and I believe Italy. Sometimes actually you may get over or way over 20 C (68F?) in many areas during the day. The latest you visit into the month, the more chance there is for rain and wind though, and often depending on location.
As your original question was a bit generic and actually posted nearly a year ago, I see you have done some research and have some ideas by now. If you have decide on Croatia and Italy you may open another thread if you haven't done that already. If you are still interested in Greece, you may want to provide specifics such as how many days you have on your disposal, how/where you plan to enter the country etc...

I just now realized that OP asked answered to your post after almost a year
I thought that the trip had be completed by now, but as it seems it has been postponed
Coastal Italy will almost certainly be that warm,mountains won't be. In our experience, October mornings in Tuscany are often "crisp" but days usually meet your standard.
