Europe in a 2 Months

Hello all! I am excited to interact with the Fodorian community!

I have agonized for hours on end about my European itinerary for the Summer and would greatly appreciate some input. I have narrowed everything down to the cities I want to visit, and have a general idea of how much time to allocate in each place, but there may very well still be room for minor improvements here and there.

I will be spending the first month in a study abroad program which will take place in Rome and Florence (this part of the trip is not modifiable). I hope to also visit Venice during one of my free weekends in Italy. Once the program ends I'm on my own. I'm a male in my 20's and plan to partake in activities ranging from from museums to clubbing/nightlife and everything in between. Following my school program, my tenative itinerary is as follows (These times already take into account travel times, I have researched the trains schedules thoroughly):

Barcelona-6 days
Berlin-4.5 days
Paris-4 days
Amsterdam-5.5 days
London- 6.5 days

Lastly, as a bit of a side note, I'm going back and forth on the ideal hostel room size. I'm currently thinking medium sized hostel rooms (around 10 bunks) may be the most ideal balance between socialization opportunities/travel partners and the ability to get some semi-uninterrupted sleep. Please let me know what you all think about this.
