Euro vs. Kuna

Jump to last reply

I have been making reservations for our stays in Dubrovnik, Hvar, Split and Rovinj in late May early June. All apartments and hotels quote rates in Euros. Can both currencies be used interchangeably in stores, bars, restaurants, rentals etc? At ATMs, are both currencies issued or do you have to hunt for ATMs with the currency you require? Is there any advantage of using the Kuna over the Euro or vice versa exchange wise versus the U.S. dollar?

Thanks
