Euro Quiz # 110 - Potpourri
1- The XXXXXX is the name both of a shallow river in northeastern Italy just south of Ravenna, and the name historically given to a river that was famously crossed by Julius Caesar in 49 BC. While it is not a proven fact, historians generally agree that the two rivers are indeed one and the same; this was not always the case.
The modern-day river runs for about 80 kilometers, from the Apennine Mountains to the Adriatic Sea through the southern Emilia-Romagna region, between the towns of Rimini and Cesena.
What is the name of the river famous in Roman lore? and where generally is it?
2- One of Amsterdam's popular sights is the XXXXXXXXXX church - a church hidden away on the uppermost floor of a building at times when whatever typ eof Christianity was worshipped here was frowned upon by authorities thus they had to hide - name the church?

In 1984 the complex reopened as an exhibition and entertainment space, which operated until 2014. As of 2014, it is under redevelopment to become a hotel. What is the name of this now shuttered entertainment complex - often maligned as being total kitsch?

I should have said 'this main street' - tsk tsk. It was the marquee street of the DDR - coming from the Brandenburg Gate and being lined by embassies, military memorials, Humboldt University etc - A main street if not the most main street. Tsk tsk.
