You will be able to see every football match on all TV stations. And all the highlights will be repeated again and again. This will be the Euro 2000 hype.

Euro 2000 alone is very boring!!

If you are not used to football crowds (it is NEVER called soccer) you should know that the experience may be less than fun for those who are unused to it.At the recent cup final in Copenhagen 2 fans were stabbed to death.
It depends on the nationalities involved.
You will be unable to avoid it on TV.My advice would be to go into a bar & watch it, that way you get some of the atmosphere.
Me again, sorry, error, it was at a game a few weeks before that 2 fans were fatally stabbed (Ithink)At Copenhagen they only had mass riots & the police were tear gassing fans in the streets , quite pleasant really.
Bring a gasmask & mace.

Hi ...

I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to defend football fans here Frank ....

A minority of "fans" cause ALL the trouble at football matches .... I go to games every week & have never seen ANY trouble. In 15 years of watching that is ..

Oscar .... You just have to be careful that is all ... avoid bars/areas where there are a lot of drunken fans ... because that is where trouble will start (if any does happen).

I would suggest that you watch it your hotel bar ... or if you want it in English, try some of the bars in the center of Brussels (assuming that is where you are staying ..). I would have thought that there are some English/Irish pubs that will be showing the games in English .........

Mark
