Eurail Pass or Buy Individual Tickets (mostly Eastern Europe)?

Jump to last reply

Hello! I've been trying to plan a two month stint through Europe, and I really need some professional advice: my plan is to fly into Amsterdam, meet some friends in less traveled German cities (Aachen, Mannheim), then Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and finally Hungary before flying back to the USA.

Now, should I invest in the Eurail pass for this, or should I just pay as I go? Anyone out there have estimate prices for train tickets? Any help would be much appreciated!
