Eurail Adds Countries!
Eurailpasses will, starting in 2005, pass in Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Serbia, along with Romania, which was added in 2004. Though the 17-country classic Eurailpass will not extend coverage to these countries, the Eurail Select Pass, where you can chose your own 3, 4 or 5 countries, will include them - with Slovenia and Croatia being one country for these purposes, and Serbia, Bulgaria and Montenegro another one. Other Eurail news: a new Eurail product brand, "Regional Passes", including Austra and Czech Rep, Austira, Slovenia and Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia, Italy and Greece, Germany and denmark - these join the Benelux-Germany, Romania-Hungry, France-Spain, Italy-France, France-Switz, and Switz-Austria passes launched in the past few years. The new few country passes can usually be bought in 2nd class as well as first regardless of age. Other news:Grimaldi ferries between Italy and spain joins the Eurail-valid boat fleets.
No price increase in 2005 for classic Eurailpasses- minor increase for Eurail Select Passes.

The above pricing info comes from the Eurail gnomes in Utrecht, Holland, the group that sets all pass prices which then must be sold at those prices - no shopping around for pass prices though i've heard on e-bay some being offered at less. don't know how this works if anyone knows please say!
