Estepona Spain

We are considering a week 10minutes outside of Estepona. Is this a wise choice. Its a 1 bedroom apartment w/shared pool w/ views of the water,Morroco and Gibralter costing $1100.This is a 4 unit complex w/ owner/caretaker in one.Is there a problem with the wind always blowing?Any other concerns we should be aware of? Thanks

There should only be a problem with wind blowing in the winter months in Estepona. Some other apartments in the area:

Estepona has a market on Wednesday morning and a rail line connection to Malaga (underground in places).

We spent a couple nights in Manliva which isn't too far from Estapona. We liked the area and had no problems.

We did a day trip to Gibraltar, but didn't drive on the rock. It was fun.

There is no railway service linking Malaga and Estepona, the railway ends at Fuengirola. evertheless, the bus service is very good.

No problems with winds-- and I have lived here for 20 years.

We offer a 2 bedroom beachfront, seaview apartment in Estepona, on the western end of the costa del sol -with rates from under 500 usd dollars per week. For longer lets, we offer great discounts.
Ideal location to enjoy the numerous golf courses, the Andalucian white villages, miles of sandy coastline ... Under an hour´s drive from Malaga, and 30 mins to Gibraltar.
