Ephesus - from Bodrum or Istanbul?

Jump to last reply

We will be in Turkey in late March and want to explore Ephesus. We will be flying into Istanbul and will spend a few days there. We will then be heading to Bodrum for a few days. After that, we will be in Antayla.

I am looking for a good - and economical - tour from either Istanbul or Bodrum to Ephesus. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

I just received an email from www.travelshopturkey.com and they can take us from Bodrum to Ephesus - on a private tour via bus - for 125 euros per person. Does that sound reasonable? We will have our own guide. Is anyone familiar with this tour operator?

Is there a tour that will take you by boat from Bodrum to Ephesus? I realize we would need ground transportation from a port to Ephesus.

Any ideas/suggestions would be more than appreciated.

Thanks so much!
