Trying to find a 2-night stay base in the area.....want to visit a champagne house & Verdun.
Would appreciate your thoughts/suggestions. From this area we will be heading down
into Burgundy. Want to stay away from larger cities..ie Reims. What is Epernay like???
Thanks in advance!

We loved Parva Domus, check trip advisor. Ensuite have curtains but other than that perfect position and people.
Town is great with many restaurants and TI offer bike hire if you want to get out on the canals and rivers for tastings while Avenue de champagne is a great place to taste.
Have a look at some details at http://www.mybikeguide.co.uk/Champagne_Guide.php
We also stayed at Parva Domus and loved it. Great location and great hosts. Would highly recommend it!
Thanks...on one of your earlier postings, I got the web-site for Parva Domas....glad to hear a first-hand report on it.....also, good to hear that there are many restaurants in the town!!
