You could easily book this trip yourself, and have the freedom to go at your own pace. Search around this forum for things others have written about these 2 wonderful cities. Tripadvisor and booking.com are helpful websites for finding hotels. Book yourself a seat on the Eurostar to travel between the two cities. For flights, use the multi-city option on most airline websites to fly into one city and out of the other. Websites like Expedia or Travelocity can be helpful for finding the lowest prices airfares(I typically search on those sites, but then book directly with the airline). And most importantly, go to your local bookstore and buy a good guidebook (I usually like Fodors or Frommers, but there are lots of others too). Happy planning!

Unless there's a reason you cannot do this on your own, why take the tour? All you get are hotels, transfers, and 1/2 day sightseeing tours of each city. Yawn. The least expensive price for this is over $400 per day and it's $4330 for two after discounts from mid-April on and that doesn't include airfare. I could beat that price on my own with the flights.

Plus: "Tour price is per person and is based on two people sharing a twin bedded room." If "we" means "couple" then why stay in a twin-bedded room? If there's an additional charge for anything else, that would suck.

Of all the European trips, this is probably one of the easiest to do on your own (and these cities are two of the most talked about on this board). You'll find most people here are do-it-yourselfers; it's often more budget-friendly and gives you the freedom to do what you like. Going on what BigRuss describes, you could easily plan this trip for less than that.
