Sorry for the delay, my brother is in town!
So we left from London City airport on an early flight Friday morning. I love that airport and it's only 15 mins from home! Landed in overcast but warm weather and took a ridiculously expensive taxi ride to Hotel Suede. €35 for about a ten minute ride! Anyway, the hotel was basic but in a great location a short walk from old town and right on the pedestrian street with lots of shops and restaurants.
We settled in and headed straight out for lunch with the sun making an appearance! We found a lovely restaurant called Franchin. We had some rose and delicious food. Great first meal!
We then headed into old town and wandered around the lovely winding streets. It was quite overcast but we enjoyed the atmosphere. Might have had a few glasses of rose along the way
Dinner that night was at Flaveurs and it didn't disappoint. I think my favourite course was the tandoori monkfish...delish! We capped off the night with a final glass of wine by the hotel. Great start to the weekend!

Sunshine, rosé, plateau de fruits de mer, and big smiles - what's not to love? Great pictures & great start - always love your reports, jamikins. We're heading to Nice in September (it's been too many years) so looking forward to more.
