Hi. I have planned to end my 2 week trip to France with 2 days in Marseille and 2 and a half days in Dijon. My current itinerary means I would travel by train to Dijon on Easter Sunday and have Sunday afternoon, Monday and Tuesday to enjoy. Since Sunday and Monday are holidays, will I be able to do much in Dijon? Would it be better to spend more time near Marseille? Any ideas for the weekend would be appreciated.
Easter weekend around Marseille or Dijon?

It's Easter everywhere, anyway. It depends what you want to do in Dijon, I don't believe any of the major museums are closed for Easter holiday, although some are closed Monday or Tuesday as their normal day of closure.
Merci, Christina. I actually e-mailed the tourist office in Dijon. They immediately responded to assure me that the Easter holidays do not interfere with most tourist activities and sites. They also gave me info on hotels and a special tourist entrance pass. I'm excited to visit Dijon.
Christina,
There Will be plenty to do and see in Dijon. It is a wonderful city. We spent 10 days there in 2007and then a week two years later and fell in love with thre city.
For both visits we stayed at www.myhomeindijon.com which is a comfortable studio apartment owned by Corrine (Coco) Jaquin. The apartment is in the center of the city within walking distance of everything. Coco is like a mother hen. She takes you under her wing and introduces you to the city.
If you go, have a wonderful time.
Apologies...this should have been addressed to goldenchien not Christina.
Thanks, tucsonbabe. I followed your recommendation and contacted Coco. Fortunately, the dates were open and we will be staying in her apt.
Good. You will love the apartment, the location, the city and most of all you will adore Coco. She will make your visit special. Have a wonderful time.
